Hip hop Seoul Documentary Film

Hip Hop Seoul is a documentary film project examining the development of hip hop artists in USA through the Korean lens for the audience of hip hop enthusiasts in South Korea and beyond. The project explores how practices rooted in New York were adapted, sustained, and transformed locally, with attention to movement, discipline, and cultural transmission. The work includes long-form interviews of 9 unique artists, show-casing different perspectives, and a growing archive produced through extended engagement with artists and practitioners over time.
